The Secret To The Perfect Burn

HOW TO SAFELY CARE FOR YOUR CANDLES
-
Trim Your Wick
Open your wick trimmer and trim your wick to ¼" before relighting to maintain a safe flame height.
Failure to trim your wick can cause the candle to extinguish itself or burn too high. If your candle flame is burning too high (over 1"), either you are burning your candle in a drafty location or your wick has not been trimmed to the proper ¼". If necessary, extinguish your candle and trim the wick shorter.
Practice Safe Candle Burning
Never leave your candle unattended. Extinguish your candle when you leave a room or go to sleep.
An ideal candle burn time is between 2 and 4 hours and should never be longer than 4 hours. If burned longer than 4 hours, your candle may overheat, which causes a breakdown of the scent particles. It also causes the candle to burn too hot, which is extremely dangerous.
Wait at least 4 hours before relighting your candle.
Keep lit candle away from drafts, ceiling fans and other air sources.
Never place a burning candle near clothing, paper products, curtains or anything flammable.
Never leave your burning candle where it could be reached or knocked over by small children and pets.
Burn candle on a level, fire-resistant surface.
Discontinue use when ½" of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
See bottom of jar for safety reminders.
Melt Pool
Your soy wax has a memory! A full melt pool will ensure an even burn for future use and will also release the maximum scent. Failure to do so can result in tunnelling, poor scent throw and burn times.
Your first burn should be approximately 2-4 hours and no longer, in order to have a full melt pool.
